Is this a good hypothesis:If you put lemon juice on an apple it will the prevent the apple from turing brown because the high acids in the lemons prevent the apple from turing brown. Same with limes. that is the end of my first hypothesis. If you have any other ideas please tell me. Thank you.

This is a fine hypothesis. I would suggest you change your last sentence to something like. "I expect limes to have the same effect."
