Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

My project is called "Getting something for nothing: free energy from the sun" I believe it's amazing how the sun works and how we wouldn't be able to live without the sun.
Yet, My teacher wants me to change it up a bit and not just see how much energy I can get from titling a solar panel, but maybe explore other stars as well or something similar to it.
Can I get any advice on something else I can do besides just getting different amounts of energy from tilting a solar panel?

Perhaps see how many solar panels, ( or how long it would take) to get the same amount of energy collected from the sun during daytime as it would being collected from stars and the light that is being reflected off of the moon at night. However, this could be subject to bias such as car headlights passing by, or a streetlight, etc... It's up to you. If you do this, I suggest forming some sort of barrier to keep out unwanted light. Also, light pollution may obscure some stars, so put it out even on a night when it doesn't seem like there are any out.
