Biofuels

Hi,
I was going to test which crops is the most efficient one to get biofuels from, but I discussed it with my teacher and we thought that it would be better if we get them from wastes. So my question is does fruits' peels or seeds have glucose? I heard that used papers have glucose. Does other used materials have glucose? And is there a way to create and control heat without (I know electricity but if there are other ways)?
