Hi I am currently starting a science fair project on food rancidity. I am currently still trying to figure out what my hypothesis & problem should be. Could anyone be able to help me on this? Thank you.

We will need more information before we can be helpful. Have you seen the Science Buddies project guide pages? E.g., here is the page about hypothesees:
