Is it possible to test e=mc2?

I would like to know how to test E=mc2 without having to spend a huge chunk of money, and I would like to know if I can analyse the changes if the equation changed from E=mc2 to E=mc3 (I know through dimensional analysis it's incorrect!

) I want to blow the world away with my findings
Thanks a lot,

Hi MurphysLaw,
I hate to be a quasher of enthusiasm, but unfortunately I don't think you'll think of a test that meets your criteria. There is a ton of evidence supporting special and general relativity (see below) although a few people think special relativity might break down at miniscule length scales due to quantum mechanical effects (see the last reference).

But, there are lots of questions in science that are ripe for exploration! Is there another question or area of science you would like to do a science fair project in?
