Crystal Ball Math: Predicting Population Growths with Models

I went to a lot of Departments of Natural Resources, and I also did a Google Search, but I couldn't for the life of me find any other animals' growth rates and carrying capacities other than the 4 given in the example.

I would like to do 3 different animals from the same area, and the example only gives two (and those two are very similar). Do you happen to know of any sites where I could find this info? And please put the URL in the answer.

Hi WinterHarmony,
This is a very interesting and advanced project you are doing!

You are on the right track, searching Department of Natural Resources websites. I think you can get some results by narrowing your search. Did you try looking at the DNR website for your particular state? How about doing a Google search for "carrying capacity" or "growth rate" for a particular animal that interests you? You can also try looking up national animal management sites, like Department of Fish and Game, the U.S. Geological Survey, or National Marine Fisheries Service. Really, finding the numbers is half the battle.
I hope that helps you with your search!
