My project is on fractals, so I was wondering how to graph that? Also what to graph.

Hi. Fractals are an interesting topic. Once you understand and recognize them, you will find them throughout nature, thus adding a natural beauty to mathematics.
Graphing fractals is not easy, as they must be graphed on a complex number plane...a plane consisting of both real and imaginary numbers. That means graphing options you have ready access to (Excel, graphing calculator, etc) will not work. There are a couple of different options.
1. You can graph simple fractals by hand.

2. There are free applets available to explore already plotted fractals. Three programs are listed in the bibliography section here:

A simple Google search of "How do i graph fractals" will offer other options, as well.
I hope this helps, and I hope you have fun with your project. Feel free to write back if you have any further questions. Good luck!
