How do you find the emissivity for an object?
So I'm doing the Absorption of Radiant Energy by Different Colors project and it said to "See the Hyperphysics website in the Bibliography for an online Stefan-Boltzmann equation calculator". So I went on the website. However, it asks for the emissivity of the object. How to find the emissivity?

I'm trying to find the emissivity for construction papers in white, red, yellow, blue, and black.

Hi Lumiere,

You can assume that the paper is an ideal radiator (emissivity = 1) for the purposes of this project.
