Judging science fair projects

Post by mwbrown »

Good Morning!

I'm in charge of our school wide science fair and I was just wondering if there is an iPad app we can use to judge all the science projects that way we can easily calculate the points and identify the winners in no time. It will be good to just give the iPads to the judges and they can judge each projects easily.. Any information/answers will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Mrs. Brown - I do not know of a specific science fair judging app. There may very well be one! But you could set up a Google drive spreadsheet that contains the rubric you plan to use. All judges could have the sheet open on an ipad or mobile device and enter their scores that way so that the tallying and recording can be automated. Sounds like a great idea.

I would love to hear how you approach it.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
