I really like this
Can Your Body Temperature Tell the Time of Day? Find Out with Human Circadian Cycles.
Project Idea
Have you ever had to adjust to a new time zone and noticed that it takes a while before you start to feel normal again? By shifting your sleep and activity schedule, you have altered the pattern of your body’s circadian rhythms. Human beings, like many other living things, have a number of internal processes that show a distinct circadian rhythm. The most obvious is our sleep cycle, with activity during the day, followed by sleep during the night. Circadian rhythms have also been demons.rated i like this topic but how can i put incorprate with sports and excerising, with a whole new question.

Hello there,

Circadian rhythm is a really cool science topic! What specific questions are you interested in addressing? For example, you mentioned that you wanted to do something in regards to sports and/or exercise. Do you want to test whether people play certain sports better at a specific time of day, or whether they can exercise for longer amounts of time during a specific time of day? Why don't you try coming up with some questions that you find intriguing, and we can help you brainstorm about how to test them!

Best,
Connie

This is an interesting topic especially since we hear people say - 'oh, I'm a morning person' ... etc...
I would first try to establish my control base line of body temperatures throughout the day -
- how many subjects would you need to include?
- how will you control for all the variables when dealing with human subjects? (age, sex, diet, physical condition, etc)
- at what points of day will you take body temperatures for your subjects?

Then, figure out the ONE variable you would want to test related to different times of day.

Could it be possible that people who say they are 'morning' people have a higher body temp right from the start?
or 'night owls' temp remains high?

What does body temperature have to do with energy people feel?
These are all questions related to your basic question -

It's really such an interesting topic! as a matter of fact high school students definitely know the feeling of that first period class when their bodies have not woken up yet! Do teenagers' grades reflect the time of day they are taking the class? (same subject of course).

Lots of interesting questions related to your topic.

Hope to find out what you focus on!

Good luck!

Can you state your topic question as an Hypothesis? (an If.... then... statement).
What will you change ? The amount of exercise and see if it changes body temperature? Will you test different times of day?
How many subjects will you use? And remember to think about all the factors that have to be the same for all the subjects EXCEPT for the ONE thing you are testing.

Maybe you could see if the subject's body temperatures change different amounts (before and after exercise) at different times of day.
