Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am building the sub sonic wind tunnel. I am not able to find a fan (plastic mount w/side air draw) with a mounting assembly that will fit on the 17" sq drive assembly board. If I increase the size of the drive assembly board to 19" sq, are there any negative impacts or adjustments I should make to minimize any of those impacts.
