Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hi,
I've bought all the materials necessary for the project "Recording on a Wire." The only ones i'm missing are the 1/8 phone jacks. At the store i was given the option to buy Mono or Stereo jacks. Which of these is recommended for the project? Does only one type work well?

dantheman321456987 - You are only recording/playing back from a single channel, so I would definitely go with the mono phone plug/jack to minimize the possibility of wiring error.
