Hi, i recently bought a 6v solar panel but a dc motor of 6v doesn't run with it. only LEDs and small bulbs work. please help.

Nithin1999 - It would appear that the current requirements of the motor exceed the energy generated by the solar panel. What is the rating of the solar panel in watts or DC current if you can tell from the data sheet? What is the motor current requirement? The starting current for a DC motor is quite heavy. If you are in bright sun, if you spin the motor by hand, will the solar cell maintain rotation at some speed? I know these are all questions, but they will help solve the compatibility issue of the solar cell capacity and the motor's electrical requirements.
