Hello there,
I would love to help, but I don't quite understand your question. It would be great if you could clarify what a "strood effect" is and how envelopes are related to what you are trying to do with this effect. Do you have a specific project question/idea in mind?
Feel free to post back with more details and we will try to help you!

The psychological effect is called STROOP and occurs when a person has to identify the name of a color when the word is printed in a different color--for example, the word BLUE is printed in red letters. The brain-training service Lumosity has a game using the Stroop Effect.
But I still don't understand where the envelopes come in. When you ask a question, please take the time to supply us with a little more information. We may be experts but we don't know everything about everything!

Hi there,
So the best type of envelope for this test are the darkest you can get. I would suggest putting the cards into a manila envelope since you can't see through them and this would eliminate your test subjects from cheating or trying to cheat. That's really all the envelope is for, to keep the cards a secret until you're ready to use them.
Best of luck,
