Can anyone help? My daughter came home and has to do a project she submitted. She said she wants to make an "earring finder"

Long to short.

Attach a receiver to earrings
push a button on transmitter and receiver beeps.

What do I need to get her to make this work?!

Great idea!! I want one! :D

Well, the first thoughts that come to mind are some sort of radio transmitter. You might look up the technology behind the clapping lamps? You know the ones that light up or off when hands are clapped?

Here is one site that explains remote controls:

Might be a good start.

Sounds like a fun project!

There are some commercial devices available that do that sort of thing (but at a much louder volume than you'd want or need). You could buy one of those and modify it:

Another idea would be to make something like this:

That would probably be cheaper and simpler.
