Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I don't know what else to do research on. Any suggestions?

Try to think of a genuine question you want to know more about. Go through your day asking how? and why? about everything. Something is bound to intrigue you. Why do snow crews use salt to melt ice? How does a battery work? These are seemingly simple questions at first, but are deceptively complex. Or, try to solve or lessen a recurring problem, like "how to reduce fossil fuels?" or "how to make electric cars more efficient?" If you are still stumped, I would suggest going to the topic selection wizard, found here https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... gister.php. Through a series of question, the wizard will present some topics that are most applicable to you based on your inputs. Good Luck! Also, please don't hesitate to ask additional questions.
