Hi, I'm having trouble converting lux to mcd

I'm trying to mount LED on the top of the box (13cm*13cm*20cm) so the intensity of the light reaching on the bottom of the box would be 1000 lx.

Then if the 1 LED bulb is 2500mcd, how many of them I should use to get 1000 lx on the bottom of the box?

Hi ahhanam,
I am afraid I had a little trouble posting the equation onto the forum. If you follow the URLs below, there are online calculators as well as detail information on the equation that can help you with the conversion.

Please be extra careful with the units in these calculator (for example, 1cd = 1000mcd, and the distances are in meter, not centimeter).
Good Luck and please let us know if there's anything else that we can help with!
