Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am doing a project on Candy Chromatography and we have to interview someone about the topic. The questions I would like to ask is, What are your views on the importance of science in the community? What is the importance of dye for candies such as M&M's and skittles? How does the different solvents change the dye?

Hi - These kinds of questions are not ones that an Expert will answer as part of an interview. These are considered questions you can find answers to by doing background research.
