Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hello,

I need help on my project. I am totally finished with everything: the board the written report, and the whole experimentation. I just want to be able to have more backround when I am judged. Here are some questions I would like to be able to answer:

1. What exactly makes the iodine and starch indicator solution turn clear when it is exposed to Vitamin C?

2. What are the main things that Vitamin C helps our bodies with?
