Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

does anyone know of a free site where you can type in a problem and it shows u how to do it and gives you the answer? And what about a free site where u can view the teachers books online with the answers?

I believe this would come under the heading, "Honor Code". As in, isn't this asking us to help someone cheat on homework? Or perhaps, is this because you have no one at home who can help you understand your homework? My advice is to talk to your teacher about getting a peer tutor, a fellow student to help you through the tough concepts, so that you can perform the work on your own.

No, I don't believe that there is a site where you can look up the answers... or at least, I don't think it would be right for someone to create such a site.

I don't know of anyplace that fully answers your question.

There's a site, answers.com, that takes your queries, runs an enhanced google query (I've stopped using straight google) and yields web sites. answers.com will also, I believe, provide a text output for simple queries. So far, all my queries, from Science Buddies, have been complex.

Very important note: if you use answers.com, you have to careful with your questions. I often like taking Project Questions straight into answers.com. Sometimes, they need a little massaging first.

Further, I would suggest that you change the Subject line of your message from "Math" to something like "Web sites" and resubmit as a NEW topic. Note also Candice Brown Elliott's comments in a resubmission.
