Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I'm doing a project over DNA Extraction from blood.I need to write an abstract about it.Could you help me? Where this experiment be used?
Materials
-distilled water
-gloves
-syrings 10 ml each (without needle)
-beakers
-Table spoon
-paper filter/coffee filter paper
-isopropanol
-blood sample
-sodium chloride

An abstract is a brief summary of your project, outlining the hypothesis you tested, the methods you used, the results you found, and the conclusions you drew.
