Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

for my science fair i'm doing what cleaner dissolves jell-o the best by putting solutions on jello in the bottom of cups. Sounds good? NOT ! For some reason the cleaners could not dissolve gelatin. FAIL ! I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but someone told me this was a "great" project. I NEED HELP (on science fair)
