Explain the equation in this experiment viscosity =2deltaPga^2/9v and should the answer be close to the viscosity of the liquids used or will the answer vary? Thanks. Please respond quickly.

Hi Ton2ley,

I'm not sure I understand your question. The equation you reference calculates the viscosity of the liquid the marble is falling through. If you do your experiment well, then the viscosity you calculate for water (for example) should be close to the actual viscosity of water. Make sure you are comparing values that have the same units!

If this doesn't answer you question, please post back with some additional details about what you are unsure about.
