'They're Not Sticking!' A Study of Gender Responses to Frust

Hi! I have constructed my grid and the paperclips will not adhere to the nail heads. Some of the nails have a better charge and some have no charge. The charge does not seem to be great enough to hold the clips. We could not find insulated wire so I wrapped the wire in electrical tape. Please advise. The batteries are new.
