Hello Kajal!

First, i want to know a little bit more about your question.
You're trying to make an lab experiment using tools like Petri Dish or you've observed this problem in a crop?
How you know that erwinia spp is the specific pathogen that is causing this problem?

If you're trying to do a microbiology experiment you have two possibilities to explain the appearance of these bacterias.
First: These banana tissues were contaminated before you work on it. Which is very plausible if you're using bananas from the supermarket for example.
Second: The contaminations are happening when you handle your samples. They can be on the Petri Dishes, on your hands, etc. So, its important that we have a clean environment and we have some techniques to assure it.

If you're talking about a crop, usually we work to isolate the infected plants from the rest of the crop because is too hard and expensive to attack these bacterias directly, using chemicals for example.

Please, let me know more specifically about your problem in a way that i can help you better.

Greetings!
