Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I need to do a presentation about Nuclear Energy and I was needing something to cheer it up, like an experiment, or something like that. My goal is to make people interested for the entire presentation. What can I do?

One way to make a presentation more engaging is to link it to things your audience may already know about (current events, Fukushima, Three Mile Island) or including information on how the topic directly effects your audience (Where do their homes get power from? Where in the US do people power their homes with nuclear energy? What are the biggest sources of radiation for an average person and how does living near/working in a nuclear power plant stack up?). Trying quizzing your audience on what they think the answers to some of these questions are before you present the answer ("what percentage of homes in the US do you think are powered by nuclear energy?").
