Greetings,

I am having trouble getting everything to work for the electrolyte challenge. As far as I can tell everything is set up and working, but I cannot get a reading on the multimeter. Pictures here: http://www.dropshots.com/jspsych/date/2 ... 1/16:19:44

jspsych - The photo did not come through, so I can't see your setup. The first question is whether the meter is set correctly. You should be using the 200mADC range for the electrolyte drinks. Are the test leads in the proper sockets on the meter. The black lead is in the COM socket, the red lead in the V-ohms-mADC socket (or something that reads like that). Do not use the 10aDC socket. Is the range selector set properly? Can you test your meter with the 9V battery on the 20 vDC range. It's possible that a fuse inside the meter is blown. If you can find a resistor between 500-2000 ohms, try that on the 20 or 200 mADC connected in series with the 9V battery. Do you get a reading? Try these so that you can isolate and correct the problem.
