So are Hyperion Employees exclusively taking care of this forum?

Scientists and engineers from a variety of organizations (and even a few students) generously volunteer their time to answer questions in all of the Ask an Expert forums. Although several Hyperion Solutions employees are or have been involved as Science Buddies volunteers in various programs, nobody from Hyperion is currently volunteering on this forum. Hyperion Solutions provided a charitable grant to Science Buddies, specifically in support of the Ask an Expert forum for Math and Computer Science.

Science Buddies is deeply grateful to our many volunteers without whose efforts Ask an Expert would not be possible. We also appreciate our sponsors who underwrite the program expenses we incur to operate the website and all its programs.

As I'm sure people have heard now (it's about a week old), Hyperion agreed to be purchased by Oracle for $3.3 billion. (The "agreed" language is used for acquisitions of all kinds friendly or hostile.)

It's probably way too early to know if the acquisition will have any impact on Science Buddies. I'm sure we're hearing that there will be no impact.

Yes?
