Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hi, my name is Esmeralda. I am a student in a medical and biotechnology academy at my school. I am currently working on a science fair project involving the Mimosa Pudica. I will try to identify the proteins that make the plant close and droop down, when touched. My question is: What would be the most efficient method in gene transformation? This is to see if you can place the proteins from the Mimosa plant into other plants as well. Thank you for your time.
