Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

So whenever I wear black socks around in my shoes (shoes are black as well) my feet sweat like a normal human then when I take my socks off the insides have this rust like orange colour in them. Can anyone explain why this happens or what this is??

Do you ever take off the shoes, or is the lining of your shoe orange?
