I want to do the Measuring Solubility project but I'm not sure what would be
my control variable. I wanted to do it just as it says to in your instructions but a control variable is a requirement. Can you explain to me which it would be??
Please and thank you

Hi isthisthingon,
Controlled variables are things that stay the same in all of the different tests that you do. Post back with what you think stays the same in all of your tests, and we'll take it from there.

Well, from what I can see what stays constant is the water. In each one that is what doesn't change.

Hi Isthisthingon,
You're right - the water is definitely constant in all the different trials. Well done. You will probably also keep some other things the same, like the temperature and the type of stirring rod you use. These would also be considered controlled variables.
