For my science fair project, I am using the question, "How do different substances affect how fast ice melts?" I need to get some different resources to do well on the project. For my research, I need at least 4 different sources and one of those needs to be an expert/college student. If you are an expert and are willing to answer, please answer the following questions.

What is your full name?

What is your occupation? (Scientist, College Student, etc.)

Which elements play into how fast ice melts?

Does size of material used to melt ice affect how fast it melts?

Are pepper, salt, or sand environmentally safe?

List any other information that might be helpful to me about ice, temperature, or substance for my project and research.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :D

Hi username2003,
We'd be happy to answer your questions. However, we ask that you first reconstruct your interview questions to fit the "interview guidelines" for Ask an Expert. viewtopic.php?f=82&t=12052. After you have edited your inquiries, you'll probably have more luck asking interview questions on the specific "interview" forum: viewforum.php?f=82. In the meantime, maybe this science buddies project can help you gain a bit more background information -->https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ml#summary (unless this is your project) Good luck!
