Why does it take 2-5 days? Mine only took about an hour. Am I doing something wrong? Or does that time include getting the materials?
This is the experiment link:

is486 - I think the 2-5 day estimate is very generous and allows for producing your analysis, reports and display boards. The actual time to assemble the materials and complete that portion of the experiment is much shorter as you discovered.

Hi is486,
Rick is correct - many times the experiment itself might only take a couple hours, but the estimated project time has a buffer for things like gathering materials. In this case the project requires some parts from Amazon.com so a few days are added for shipping. There are some projects where the experiment itself does take a long time, like projects where you have to watch plants grow for several weeks.
