Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Please help! My science project is on Blasting the Influenza Strains, I think that's what it's called. I need a hands on experiment to do with the project though! Is their something that i could do like, injecting some liquid into a veggie or a fruit or something and pretend its a vaccine, but still get the point out? Thanks!
