Hi,
I wnated to ask for some help on a question I am struggling to answer.
In a air tight room, well insulated, there are objects with a overall temperature of over 1,800 degrees.
What will the temperature of the room be and what will be the maximum temperature of the room?
How long until the temperature starts to fall?
ANY help appreciated!

Is this question related to a K-12 science project? If so, what the hypothesis you are testing? If not, then a different set of online forums would be a more appropriate place to find answers to your question.

In brief, however, the final temperature of the room will depend on how much of the room is occupied by the hot objects, the heat capacity of the objects, the size of the room, how "well insulated" the room is, the initial temperature of tehe room, among others. For example, a 10 ft by 10 ft by 10 ft room with a 9 ft by 9 ft by 9 ft piece of 1800 degree ceramic in it will have a higher final temperature than the same room with a 1 inch by 1 inch by 1 inch piece of 1800 degree ceramic in it. So, you would need some additional information before you can make answer your question definitively.
