Hi.

How detailed does the conclusion have to be? Does it just answer the question posed in the hypothesis?

Hi, it sounds like you're doing an experiment similar to this one: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ml#summary

I think you have a good hypothesis, but you may want to be more specific about the types of screws you're using. Here are some tips on writing hypotheses:

Hi Curiousity555,

The level of detail you need in your conclusions section depends on your teacher. In general, however, the conclusion section should state whether your hypothesis was correct and give an explanation about why your project turned out the way it did. The rest of the conclusion section should explain the scientific principles that caused your experimental results to be what they were. For more details about the conclusion section, check out the Science Buddies Project Guide page about conclusions:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ml#keyinfo

You can use the "checklist" tab to evaluate what you write.
