Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

hi! i'm a new teacher who is handling research I and II in junior and senior high ... i'm always worried about it since it's my first time to handle the subject. In our research II, i am required to submitt an SIP but i cant make up my mind as to what topic should i consider to undertake...please help me... my co-adviser suggests something bout "the lupos" or bout "recycling plastics" or "polyethylene"...
I really dont know...i would appreciate any suggestion. Thanx a lot!

I mean Lupus... cancer which attact the immune system and the like.
