Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hello Science experts,

I want to do a study on how the type of antioxidents found in coffee beans
(flavanoids) can prevent you from developing liver cancer or the science behind how it improves memory.
Are there any easier ways to practically design any experiments for this project?
I don't want to conduct really critical, hard, and time consuming experiments because I am only in grade 9
and I am limited in resources.
I kindly request you to give me some suggestions on developing smart experimental procedures.
Please reply as soon as possible!

Welcome to Science Buddies! Maybe a good way to decide how to proceed is to think about your variables. What is your dependent variable? What is your independent variable? How will you measure (observe) your dependent variable?
