I wanted to do a science project from this page, which uses the GM soyseeds. But it is to be done for my school, as a project which will get a note. As this has to imitate a real experiment I need to use at least 100 seeds, and here come the problem. Roundup resistant seeds are not avaliable in my country (Poland) but I also can't find them for sale on the internet. There is some kina of seed-kit given by the author of the experiment, but the kit contains, if my calculations are right ( a kit for 10 groups, 5 seeds per plant) 50 seeds. A price of 160 $ for two kits plus the price of shipping will be huge. Where else or how can I buy/substitude those GM seeds ?

The link to an experiment :

Please help !

Hi,

I checked the GMO seed kit you listed at the link and it is $60usd. This appears to have several types of seed--corn, soy, bean, etc. but the ad did not say how many of each.

I did a search for GMO soybean seeds online but Monsanto is the big supplier and they don't appear to sell in small quantities. If Poland has laws against GMO crops then you may have a problem getting any seeds delivered to your country. I don't know whether there are any restrictions against schools so I would have your school do the ordering. If there's a university or college that does agricultural research, you could call them and ask them if they know where you could get a small number of GMO seeds.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!
