Firstly, hi; and thanks for reading my topic. I have to do a Biology topic like in 2-3 months; and I had a really great idea which can be used in Human genoms. But my Biology teacher said that I have to make a concrete project and said that if I aim high things like Human genoms, I have to at least make a mock-up. I looked for similar Biology projects in sciencebuddies.org but unfortunately my native language isn't English and I had lots of problems while I was reading them. Can you help me finding an idea about this?
Also I am a 9th Grade student and I am good at Chemistry, I can say I mastered it; because I am in Chemistry Olympics Team in my high school.

Hi,

Welcome to science buddies! We are happy that you have found our website and are interested in doing a science project.

I think that your teacher wants you to do an experiment with an independent and dependent variable with results that can be measured.. What was your project idea? Maybe I can help think of a way to adapt it to an actual experiment. That would also help me understand what you are interested in.

I will try to help you again find a project on this website that will meet your teacher's approval. Here are a list of genome projects from this website. Most of the projects are advanced, so would be challenging to do. Look though this list and see if there is something you would be interested in that would also meet your teacher's approval.

Please also try the topic selection wizard from this website: You will answer a few questions and the wizard will find projects that you might be interested in doing. Each project also includes the approximate time required and a cost estimate to help your selection. You have plenty of time before your project is due, so you can do a more complex project if you want to.

Please let me know what project idea you are interested in.

Good luck.
