My project title ( cloning of bacterial gene that degrade plastic and express it in yeast)
I will take operon and clone it ,,
My question is would bacterial operon work in yeast, and how to check the activity of operon expression? And how about the expression, can I increase the activity of operon expression in yeast?

Hi  Reemalabdulla,

Welcome to science buddies! I apologize for the delay in responding to your inquiry.

You have picked a challenging, but very interesting topic for your application. It is possible to clone bacterial genes in yeast.

Here are two papers that include protocols, or references to protocols, if you need them. .

Please explain what you are trying to do if you need additional information.
