Are there alternatives for nichrome coils? Check the link below and read the article. Here in my local town I cannot find any supplier of nichrome coils.

In the article you linked to, nichrome coils are used as the heating element. You can order nichrome wire online. I haven't purchased from this company myself, so I can't recommend them from experience, but it looks like Pelican Wire Company sells the type of wire you would need to make coils.

There may be alternative ways of heating materials depending on what, exactly, you are trying to do.
Can you tell us some more about what you are trying to do? What is the hypothesis you are testing or the engineering design goal you are working to achieve?
