Hi taisiaau,

You are most likely to find what geologists call "rock-forming minerals". The rock-forming minerals are the most common minerals on earth and other planets in our Solar system. These include pyroxene, feldspar, quartz, and mica. This website gives a nice overview of the common rock-forming minerals and what they look like.
