Hi kleenex,

When we talk about physical properties of DNA (length, width) we usually use angstroms (10^-8 m).

Please let us know if you have any other questions,

Hi Kleenex,

Welcome to Science Buddies! Peter S has given you some good information about measuring DNA.

Are you thinking about doing this excellent project?

Hi Kleenex,

What specific part of this experiment are you trying to figure out a metric unit for? Are you using it when filling out the table used in the experiment? I just want to make sure that you were able to figure out what you needed.
