In the experiment How much weight can your boat float, you make different shapes of boats and put pennies in the boats and see how long they float and i was curious what is the control in this science experiment please help me and thanks

There's really no need for a control in this experiment, and the protocol doesn't seem to mention it. It does specify certain parameters, such as flat bottom and same height rim, that to some degree normalize the experiment.
