Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I was thinking about how to generate electricity using pascal's principle. One was using the car lift layout to push up electic generators, like the one in those batteries that you shake, and let them fall down when the water level falls (when the pump is pulled back up).

You can provide "how do you generate electricity using pascal's principle?" to answers.com to get ways to generate electricity using pascal's principle. Responses 1-9 seem to be directly applicable; maybe something there will help.

Re: the referenced files, I get an "access denied" when I try to read the JPG. In any case, however, it's not within my area of expertise to answer the questions if the permissions is fixed. You might want fix the permissions so someone else could help.

Two notes in using answers.com:

1. Generally, the "Sponsored Links" are commercials. So, it's best to skip them and use only the "Web Results." (this time, there don't appear to be any "Sponsored Links.") There are several sites to skip, however, since they're just trying to sell something.
