Hey, I'm Sibylla. I was wondering if you could help me with my science project.

In my project I'm looking to find out the effect of the angle of a chair's back in relation to its seat on posture.
I'm still in the beginning stage of my project, and I will be doing more research. I'm looking for sources where I can find how to model a person's back. (Also, it's not very easy to find sources for my project in general.) I'd appreciate help.

Thanks!

Hi Sibylla,
This sounds like a great subject for a science project!
In regards to your research, I would suggest you use the search term "ergonomics" in either google or the science buddies search engine. I think you will find some resources that are useful to you such as this:

In regards to modeling someone's back, I would suggest a search term of "spine, ergonomics"

Hopefully, this will get you started.
Please let us know if there's anything else that we can help with.
Good Luck and have fun!
Willey

Hey, I'm doing a project on the effect of the arc of a backrest of a chair on posture. I still need to figure out how to model a person's back, how to measure the arc of the backrest, and how to conduct my experiment in general. Could you please send me some useful links? Thanks. -Sibylla
