Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

How would I test my Science project on Chromosomal Mutation. I NEED SOME HELP FROM AN EXPERT! I am testing it on if nicotine and/or alcohol affects how a person's chromosomes match with other chromosomes( male/female chromosomes match with other sex chromosomes)? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME ON THIS! I did some research but I just need to know if this can actually be test and if some one can guide me through...?

How are you administering nicotine and the alcohol? Further, what resources do you have available to you to do this experiment? (ie. sequencing, PCR, etc.) Better yet, please explain what you are doing in this experiment.
