Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I'm doing a biology project about avocados, pomegranates and tomatoes. I will dissect the fruits and count their seeds, and calculate an average seed number. (I will have two avocados, etc.)
My question is, how can I further expand this project into something that is not simplistic, yet not too difficult. This project is due on the 29th of November.

Have you looked into this project on science buddies? Maybe you have some ideas to expand on it after reading through it.
