UV beads experiment Question

So I've finished all the work except coming up with an application for this project and I cannot figure it out.

I said, "The information gained from this experiment can be used to help further ones own understanding of molecules and the effect temperature has on them."

I feel this is wrong, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Tyler1142,

I’m assuming that you are working on the project described here:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p088.shtml

I think you’re on the right track. More specifically you might say that the experiment helps with understanding how temperature affects the rate of reaction of a photochromic dye with ultraviolet light.
The study of reaction rates is an important part of chemistry. And information about reaction rates can be applied to manufacturing certain chemicals more efficiently.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
